President Reagan was a fallible man just as any other but he had a heart, at least in his mid-later years, that wanted to serve and honor God. I pray for God to touch the hearts of our leaders to seek the True God and His Righteous Principles. And I pray for God's Mercy upon our land. (picture is public domain)

Painting File: Jean-Leon Gerome-The Christian Martyrs’ Last Prayer Walters 37113.jpg public domain-Wikipedia Saint Valentine was a clergyman – either a priest or a bishop – in the Roman Empire who ministered to persecuted Christians He was martyred and his body buried on the hill of Terni on the Via Flaminia near a necropolis, on February 14, which has been observed as the Feast of Saint Valentine (Saint Valentine's Day) since 496 AD. Signs of Christ's return states: "Now when He had spoken these things, while they watched, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight. And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel, who also said, 'Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven.'" —Acts 1:9-11 Other signs:
Please note that the Coming of Jesus Christ is compared to the times of Noah. For it says in Matthew 24:37-39, "But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be." (KJV) This is also consistent with the concept that as Jesus Christ will come to judge all those on the entire earth, so did God judge all those on the entire earth in the time of Noah with a worldwide Flood. It is time to Repent: Acts 17 22 So Paul stood in the midst of the Areopagus and said, “Men of Athens, I see that you are very religious in all respects. 23 For while I was passing through and examining the objects of your worship, I also found an altar with this inscription, ‘TO AN UNKNOWN GOD.’ Therefore, what you worship in ignorance, this I proclaim to you. 24 The God who made the world and everything that is in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made by hands; 25 nor is He served by human hands, as though He needed anything, since He Himself gives to all people life and breath and all things; 26 and He made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined their appointed times and the boundaries of their habitation, 27 that they would seek God, if perhaps they might feel around for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us; 28 for in Him we live and move and exist, as even some of your own poets have said, ‘For we also are His descendants.’ 29 Therefore, since we are the descendants of God, we ought not to think that the Divine Nature is like gold or silver or stone, an image formed by human skill and thought. 30 So having overlooked the times of ignorance, God is now proclaiming to mankind that all people everywhere are to repent, 31 because He has set a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness through a Man whom He has appointed, having furnished proof to all people by raising Him from the dead.” See book Defending the Christian Faith in the Last Days-in book section this website for more information.
John 6 26 "Jesus answered them and said, 'Truly, truly, I say to you, you seek Me, not because you saw signs, but because you ate some of the loaves and were filled. 27 Do not work for the food that perishes, but for the food that lasts for eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you, for on Him the Father, God, has set His seal.' 28 Therefore they said to Him, 'What are we to do, so that we may accomplish the works of God?' 29 Jesus answered and said to them, 'This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He has sent.' 30 So they said to Him, 'What then are You doing as a sign, so that we may see, and believe You? What work are You performing? 31 Our fathers ate the manna in the wilderness; as it is written: ‘He gave them bread out of heaven to eat.' 32 Jesus then said to them, 'Truly, truly, I say to you, it is not Moses who has given you the bread out of heaven, but it is My Father who gives you the true bread out of heaven. 33 For the bread of God is that which comes down out of heaven and gives life to the world.' 34 Then they said to Him, 'Lord, always give us this bread.' 35 Jesus said to them, 'I am the bread of life; the one who comes to Me will not be hungry, and the one who believes in Me will never be thirsty. 36 But I said to you that you have indeed seen Me, and yet you do not believe. 37 Everything that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I certainly will not cast out. 38 For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me. 39 And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that of everything that He has given Me I will lose nothing, but will raise it up on the last day. 40 For this is the will of My Father, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him will have eternal life, and I Myself will raise him up on the last day.'” NASB Jesus Christ teaches by the shore of Sea of Galilee (Jpeg of Painting of Tissot at Brooklyn Museum Photo: Brooklyn Museum, 00.159.109_PS1.jpg CC BY 3.0. The religio-philosophical concepts of evolutionary development can not produce the complexity seen in life forms. It has never been demonstrated. All that can be done is to assume that it occurs and put life form within the assumptions of evolution. Creation with a Creator requires less abstraction of assumptions and is thus more plausible. I have written an article on the religious nature of evolution and it is online at the 1st link below. Also, there is a 2nd link to an article on the interfacing of religion, science and philosophy. As well, it has been shown that the teaching of evolution terminology hinders a true understanding of science-see link to 3rd article below. And I have a book Defending the Christian Faith, in the book section of this website that summarizes these views. To God Be The Glory |
