The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever. Isaiah 40:89/26/2021

Please note that I no longer consider evolution a theory but a worldview-religious/philosophy as it is non-testable regarding past events and macro-evolution does not occur presently. Below is the link to the rest of the article. It is also discussed in my book Defending the Faith in the Last Days which is listed in the store on this website.
The Petrified National Forest Park AZ has many areas of beautiful, imposing landscape. Yet, this area's strata is consistent with having been part of a massive flood plain in the past. The alignment of large fossilized tree trunks, top image, argues for a rapid muddy flow at that time. Similar strata are found in the eastern parts of the United States. This can be consistent with the report of the Noah Flood Account. See book listed below and also in the store section of this website for where to purchase it.
1 Corinthians 7 (NIV) 1 Now for the matters you wrote about: “It is good for a man not to have sexual relations with a woman.” 2 But since sexual immorality is occurring, each man should have sexual relations with his own wife, and each woman with her own husband. 3 The husband should fulfill his marital duty to his wife, and likewise the wife to her husband. 4 The wife does not have authority over her own body but yields it to her husband. In the same way, the husband does not have authority over his own body but yields it to his wife. 5 Do not deprive each other except perhaps by mutual consent and for a time, so that you may devote yourselves to prayer. Then come together again so that Satan will not tempt you because of your lack of self-control. 6 I say this as a concession, not as a command. 7 I wish that all of you were as I am. But each of you has your own gift from God; one has this gift, another has that. 8 Now to the unmarried (or widowers) and the widows I say: It is good for them to stay unmarried, as I do. 9 But if they cannot control themselves, they should marry, for it is better to marry than to burn with passion. 10 To the married I give this command (not I, but the Lord): A wife must not separate from her husband. 11 But if she does, she must remain unmarried or else be reconciled to her husband. And a husband must not divorce his wife. 12 To the rest I say this (I, not the Lord): If any brother has a wife who is not a believer and she is willing to live with him, he must not divorce her. 13 And if a woman has a husband who is not a believer and he is willing to live with her, she must not divorce him. 14 For the unbelieving husband has been sanctified through his wife, and the unbelieving wife has been sanctified through her believing husband. Otherwise your children would be unclean, but as it is, they are holy. 15 But if the unbeliever leaves, let it be so. The brother or the sister is not bound in such circumstances; God has called us to live in peace. 16 How do you know, wife, whether you will save your husband? Or, how do you know, husband, whether you will save your wife? jgl note: In vs 7,8 and elsewhere in the Bible Paul remained celibate/unmarried. He was consumed with the work of the Lord. Proverbs 18 (NIV) 22 He who finds a wife finds what is good and receives favor from the Lord. Proverbs 19 14 Houses and wealth are inherited from parents, but a prudent wife is from the Lord. Proverbs 31 10 A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies. 11 Her husband has full confidence in her and lacks nothing of value. Also: 1 John 1 8 If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us. "...Aretas IV. is probably identical with the Aretas whose governor at Damascus attempted to imprison Paul the apostle while the latter was on his missionary journey (II Cor. xi. 32). Since in a parallel passage (Acts ix. 23 et seq.) the Jews of Damascus are mentioned as lying in wait for Paul, it is very probable that Aretas made the attempt to capture Paul at the request of the Jews. From this it follows that the Jews must have been influential in the Nabatæan kingdom; otherwise the Nabatæans would have been careful to avoid any interference with Paul, who was a Roman citizen."
