My Testimony (From Linked In)

I have been a Christian since December 1974, and I was just 24 years old.It has been 40 years as of December of 2014. Several people were key in my coming to the Lord-foremost my Godly mother who went to be with Jesus Christ in October 2014. From the moment I became a Christian and forward it has been my desire to serve God in whatever capacity He chooses for me to be in. Thus, any degrees I have are because I believe He wanted me to obtain them. The first degree in Experimental Pathology gave me an appreciation for the process of science. Through that experience I came to realize the greatness of God in creating the universe, the impact of sin on it-the creation, and that both creationism and evolutionism are belief systems and not strictly scientific theories. Becoming a medical doctor has filled a desire in myself to help others and to relieve suffering, at least to some degree, as Jesus Christ did while on earth. Finally, a degree in Archaeology and Biblical History has given me a new strength to trust and better understand the historical reports presented in the bible as true events.I desire for all I come in contact with to share God's love for them and the forgiveness and regeneration of their spirits available through faith in Jesus Christ. I look forward to His return to restore His ways in the earth, and finally to a "new heaven and a new earth" as the Bible says in Revelation 21:1. My wife and children serve Him as well.
