(JGL Note: As a medical doctor I find these verses fascinating. They describe the development of the fetal child from conception and implantation as an embryo, "my unformed substance...woven in the depths of the earth"(uterine wall); and the development "intricately woven...knitted together" into a "frame" (bony structure). The Hebrews had a knowledge of God's hands working with and through them their entire lives for He was the One who "knitted me together...My soul knows it very well.") How precious are the little ones to God.

For God desires for all to be saved and come to a knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:4; 2 Peter 2:9), yet not all do ( 2 Thessalonians 2:10). God exists outside of time, He is from everlasting (Revelation 22:13). He knows who will turn in repentance before they even know themselves. Yet, He is deeply grieved by those who do not repent (Hebrews 3:10). And all mankind has had revelation of God to them (Psalm 97:6).)
