The cliff swallow makes an intricate nest out of mud. It is attached to an under hang of a cliff, bridge or similar structure. An opening is made in this bowel or globe like structure where the female sparrow can lay her egg and then feed the hatch-ling through the hole. Who gave the swallow the knowledge to do this? Design, even in habits of animals, argues for a designer. Romans 1

"The Great Unconformity can be traced across North America and globally, including most of today’s southern hemisphere landmasses, along with Western Europe and Siberia—this makes it the 'most widely recognized and distinctive stratigraphic surface in the rock record'.
This surface in most regions separates continental crystalline basement rock from overlying undeformed Cambrian marine fossil-bearing sedimentary rock. It thus records the onset of the denudation of continental crust, followed by the first major marine transgression (Sauk Sequence) and sediment accumulation on the continents The Great Unconformity is a clear case where uniformitarianism does not apply. Extensive planation surfaces are not forming today but channel erosion is occurring today. The very high energy erosion of the global Flood would have had the capacity to wear down Precambrian cratons to simultaneously form the Great Unconformity as a peneplaned surface over tremendous areas of the earth. Most Flood geologists point to this widespread erosional discontinuity in the geological record, known as the Great Unconformity, as indicating the Flood’s abrupt onset...." See article by Harry Dickens link below: Collared Lizard on a piece of petrified wood. (pix by jgl) 1) long logs aligned in parallel indicating large flowing water; 2) root bulb on a large petrified tree indicating that it had been uprooted and then buried; 3) petrified matted root and branch matter consistent with a watery deposit; 4) petrified bark curling off the tree supportive of a traumatic rapid burial; 5) petrified log with no bark supportive of a traumatic removal of the bark prior to burial; 6) parallel petrified logs in clayey layered soil consistent a massive muddy burial; 7) limb socket consistent with traumatic removal of the limb; 8) petrified log preserved within a natural cement consistent with a watery burial, 9) a crushed intact petrified log consistent with a rapid burial with a heavy overburdened; 10) volcanic layer over the layered clayey strata consistent with rapid continuous deposition and stratification. The Jays where we live are very raucous and scare other smaller birds away while they eat the seed we put out. I think they are Pinyon Jays. Jays are a mid-size bird. They are found in the "Old World" and "New World".
The number of different Jays can be a subject for conversation. I am not an Ornithologist so the only point I am making is that there are a variety of birds called Jays. They are all beautiful creations of God. Yet, they can be affected by a variety of parasites and bacteria-a result of the Fall of Creation. So there is Beauty in the Midst of Corruption. See My book on this subject. It is listed in my store. |
