Provision Matthew 6:25-31

Protection (of the Jewish Peoples in Jerusalem) Isaiah 35:1
As birds flying, so will the Lord of hosts defend Jerusalem; defending also he will deliver it; and passing over he will preserve it.

Common Structure/Function In Different Living Organisms: Evidence For Evolution Or Creation?

In the images above there are reptiles, a fish, mammals, amphibians. All have a mandible (lower jaw), maxilla (upper jaw), nasal bones, cutting/crushing surfaces used for feeding, eye sockets bony prominances where muscles attach etc. Science can analyse these structures for durability, shape, development from immature to mature forms (this is limited in extinct forms) etc. It can not be used directly to support evolutionary trends nor creative design. One must add religio-philosophical assumptions to answer those and other questions-esp regarding origins.

Some will say that DNA can sort out evolutionary trends or the uniqueness of created kinds. However, It can only support, not prove one's religio-philosophical views. Even as the development of gene manipulation continues the answers to intial life forms, e.g. the origin of life or the absolute final end of all life will never be answered. All mankind must put their observations (the practice of science) within a religio-philosophical framework. This is more fully discussed on the web page titled the Interfacing of Religion. Educators have an obligation to teach what science can and can not answer. Sadly, evolution is being taught as science when it is not. As has been said before it is not even a theory. If one desires to test it as a theory of transmutation of life forms, it is directly falsified (no observed evidence). See page on Religion, Philosophy and Science.

In the above images I choose the religio-philosophical view that they represent designed common function. This supports the concept of a Designer-God.

Jerusalem

I've shown this photo before but it is a favorite of mine. Jerusalem with the sun shining on it in the distance. Qumran and the wilderness in the mid-ground and the Dead Sea in the foreground. If I understand the scriptures correctly, Jesus Christ, as the Messiah, will come to reign as the "King of Kings". But, it will be in a New Jerusalem and a New Heavens and Earth. See Scriptures below: (I have corrected and added to comments from the pervious days)

But, Things that must happen before Christ returns:
2 Thessalonians 2
1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,
2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?
6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.
7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
13 But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:
14 Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
15 Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.
16 Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace,
17 Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work.

Regarding Christ's Return
1Thessalonians 4 15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

New Jerusalem and Heavens and Earth
Revelation 21
1And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

"One of the most incredible claims of modern science is that continents move...With the advent of satellite technologies, scientists can now measure precise movements of land on both sides of the plate boundaries…The study of earth movements is technically known as “tectonics,”...amazing prediction of plate tectonics is the existence of the plate that drove into the western edge of North America, pushing up the Rocky Mountains and then disappearing under the continent...The continents are made up of many different rock types, but if we were to grind them all up, the average composition would be similar to granite. On the other hand, drilling into the ocean floors has revealed that the oceanic crust beneath the ooze is made up of basalt (dark volcanic rock)...Cooled oceanic crust is heavier than the hot mantle beneath it. So it tends to sink. The continental crust, in contrast, is much lighter (less dense), so it floats. As a result, the continents “ride” higher than the ocean crust. If they collide, the ocean crust would slide under the continental crust because it is heavier..."
