Woody Part of dead saguaro had been used as building material
Grows only in the Sonoran Desert (naturally) southern AZ northern Mexico (JGL note: pre-Flood there probably was a more uniform environment and the cactus was probably more wide spread.)

Diseases: Fasciation (abnormal growth of part of the plant-can be due to various factors); Bacterial Rot.
