This image is from an older text (1800's), but it shows the progression of butterfly development: Butterfly(15) lays eggs. Eggs (not show) hatch and develop into caterpillars (16) which then go into the chrysalis stage(17) and finally hatch into the butterfly stage. Then eggs are laid again and the cycle begins again.The code for all this is probably only contained in the DNA and the reading of it, transcription/translation into proteins and the assembling into each of the very different structures in each stage occurs. Very complex turning on and off of genes must occur in a precise sequence. Mutations occurring at any of these stages, at any level of the processes, can be debilitating and lethal. As all life forms show such great complexity the ideas (as they are not demonstrated) of evolutionary philosophy can not be adequately used to explain their development. Life forms demonstrate great diversity even within their given groups. These observations fit better into the creation philosophy as they support the divine design of life forms, the varieties seen within the groups, and the corruption of the mutational processes. In these corrupting processes life forms became susceptible to disease and carriers of disease. For the Christian and Jew this degradation began after the Fall of man (Adam) in his rebellion against God. For Romans 8:22 says, "For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now."
