As a Scientist I can not emphasis it enough: we need to teach children to observe nature and not be spoon fed supposed and largely falsified evolutionary genetic linkage patterns. While it is true that I extrapolate the above observations to appeal to support a Designer/Creator and independent animal groups this takes less extrapolation than evolutionary scenarios. There are no observational evidences today for the so-called transmutation of organisms. (Mutations debilitate and degrade.) And yet, just as man designs things, e.g. car, plane, computers etc it is reasonable that there is One who designed mankind. The Bible comments that "all who seek Me will find Me." So, seek Him. (Christian Theology on this site has some information.)
Deuteronomy 4
29 But if from thence thou shalt seek the Lord thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul. (In context this was spoken to the Jewish People, but the principle applies to all mankind.)
