John 1:1 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not." (see John 3:19 "And this is the comdemnation, that light is come into the world and men loved darkness rather than light because their deeds were evil...21 But he that doeth truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.")
John 8:12 "Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life."
The above photo is a natural symbolism of God's Light (Jesus Christ) penetrating the darkness (spiritual) of this world. He came to give men God's Light-His Word and the presence of His Holy Spirit. One day the earth will be filled with the Glory of God. Jerusalem will be established as God's Dwelling Place ( as well as he the Holy Spirit dwelling in the hearts of those who believe in the Messiah Jesus Christ. See Christian Theology section on this website.).
ISAIAH 62:1 For Zion's sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth.
2 And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the Lord shall name.
3 Thou shalt also be a crown of glory in the hand of the Lord, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God.
4 Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate: but thou shalt be called Hephzibah, and thy land Beulah: for the Lord delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married.
