1 "Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,
2 Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.
3 When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him.
4 And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he demanded of them where Christ should be born.
5 And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judaea: for thus it is written by the prophet,
6 And thou Bethlehem, in the land of Juda, art not the least among the princes of Juda: for out of thee shall come a Governor, that shall rule my people Israel." KJV
**Dr. Molnar revealed convincing evidence on the source of the Star of Bethlehem along with the purpose of the star and ram design* This coin was minted (JGL comment: 13 AD this coin in photo and their coin in 6 AD) in Antioch which was one of the centers of early Christianity. Ancient writings show that Judea was represented by the Ram Aries in the zodiac and particular positions of the other heavenly bodies represented regal divinity* Molnar found that an unusual array of the planets occurred in Aries during 6 BC which the Magi recognized as a divine birth in Judea*"

Another explanation of the scriptures was that there was a miraculous light that occurred that was unique to the present constellations. The wise men from the East (how many?) would have been aware of the Hebrew Scriptures as they would have read about Daniel the Prophet when he was in Babylon. They .would then also have had access to scriptures that would herald the arrival of the King of the Jewish People. When it, the star, occurred they followed it.
Micah 5
2 But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.
