Do we comprehend the complexity of a seed with an enormous amount of information encoded in DNA/RNA that once buried in proper soil with nutrients and moisture begins its' process of unfolding, replicating, duplicating and generating all the proteins. The building blocks for carbohydrates lipids formation are present in the seed as well. How is even one more individual tree cell made? Then these pluripotent cells begin differentiating into other types of specialized cells for roots, branches, leaves and trunk (bark, phloem, cambium, xylem and heartwood) etc. Amazing.
Then sadly all (probably) trees have mutations (breakdowns of DNA/RNA), of a variety of forms, many that deform and debilitate the trees. Why? The Bible gives an answer that some people do not want to accept-the sin of man (from the time of Adam and Eve forward).
Yet, mankind continues to try to save itself, but has never come close. I am thankful that technology and medical treatments have alleviated suffering but never will these obliviate completely the suffering. Only Jesus Christ can give true healing to the spirit and soul of man now and in the future true complete physical healing (as almost all mankind is destined to die). The Bible talks about a new heavens and earth.
Isaiah 66:22 For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the Lord, so shall your seed and your name remain.
2 Peter 3:13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
Evolution, as a religion-philosophy can only offer "Nature: Red in Tooth and Claw" and "Survival of the Fittest". How tragic and un-true.
